Newburg

Newburg is a large city in Left 4 Dead, presumably located somewhere in Pennsylvania. In the campaign Dead Air, the Survivors make their way through Newburg in order to get to Metro International Airport, and thus escape the Infection via a C-130 Hercules military plane. On their way, they cross many rooftops, go through abandoned hotels and office buildings, and even through a construction site.

• Judging by the fact that buildings are still up in massive flames and the heavy presence of ember in the air, it is possible that Newburg was only recently besieged by the Infected and/or recently bombed by the military.
• Due to the numerous planes crashed throughout the city, it is believed that most of the planes departing from the Metro International Airport were either carrying Infected passengers and shot down by military jets or the planes could have been overpowered by the Infected during take off.
• Newburg is speculated to be a part of Philadelphia, though this is unlikely as No Mercy already takes place there.
• The escape aircraft has ROKAF painted on the tail, which stands for Republic of Korea Air Force
